If you're interested in starting your career in the funeral industry, becoming a mortuary transfer agent is a great way to get your foot in the door. A mortuary transfer agent is responsible for the transfer of a deceased person from one location to another.

Successful applicants will:

• be caring and compassionate

• be respectful and well-presented

• be reliable and honest

• exercise discretion in and outside of the workplace

• hold an open drivers licence (auto or manual)

• have the ability to work flexibly on an on-call roster
